The NJOB Boat Delivery Process
The NJOB Boat Delivery Process is a very special one. Here at New Jersey Outboards we're your one stop shop for getting a new boat, servicing your boat, and getting supplies from our fully stocked Marine Store. It is very important to us to make the customer feel comfortable and do all of their service with us. Our goal is customer satisfaction and making sure every customer leaves feeling like they know how to take care of their new boat and can drive it confidently.
We have a very involved delivery process that is mostly conducted by our service technicians that way you can have all of your answers confidently answered and physically showed to you.
After you purchase your new or used boat you will be scheduled for a delivery date. Whether your're boat is going to be delivered elsewhere or your going to take it from the water in the Toms River you will still have a sea trial with our technician at our facility.......that way if there are any issues we are close to our shop for minor adjustments.

On the day of your delivery you will come in to see your Salesman. Your salesman and you will go over your owner's packet as well as all of your warranties and any paperwork that needs to be taken care of for delivery. The salesman will explain the warranties and maintenance as well as break in procedure for your new engine.

The salesman will then bring you to our Marine store where you will receive 10 % off of your first purchase. They will help you get some necessary items as well as introduce you to the service manager and parts manager.

You will meet your technician and inspect the boat. The technician will take the engine cover off, and familiarize you with basic engine maintenance. He will answer any and all questions you may have.

You will be taken to a ramp a few blocks away from the dealership. Where we show you how to launch the boat into the water.

You wil be given a coast guard package. The package contains 4 adult life jackets, one throw able, two 15 ft. dock lines, one anchor, anchor line, anchor chain, flares, and fire extinguisher. Everything required for the coast guard.

You will be taken on the water and operate your own boat and shown every gauge, switch, and safety features. We then will drive out into the water and stop and show you how every gauge, switch, and safety features all work. We will answer any and all questions on all the equipment as well.

Once completely comfortable, we will show you how to operate your boat. Then you take over and do what we did until you are completely comfortable and all questions are answered.

If you have purchased a trailer you will be shown how to load the boat back on the trailer and haul it out.
