World Cat

World Cat Boats:
At World Cat, we use only materials that deliver the greatest strength, workability and value. And when we put them in our boats, they’re everywhere – we’re not just doing it for show. We want our boats to outperform all others in their class. From full 316 hardware to 21st century composites, we only use materials that meet out World Class standards.
Nothing performs as smoothly or as safely as a World Cat – because few boats on the water are built like ours. We’ve achieved this World Class standard by employing the finest people, materials and best manufacturing processes. In the assembly area all tanks, plumbing systems and wiring harnesses are installed into the hull. The liner is poly-bonded to the hull to form the inner deck and sides. A high-grade, below-the-waterline quality adhesive is applied to the deck cap, and then bonded to the top of the hull sides and liner at the gunnels. The rub rail is added and the whole assembly is attached with stainless steel fasteners ensure efficient load spreading. These are some of the crucial elements of a strong, reliable boat. It requires many small, important steps in a workable process. Workability allows our craftsmen to put the materials exactly where the engineers call for them. This requires an attention to detail. Sure we could cut corners, but then it wouldn’t be a World Cat.
Benefits of a world cat:
* Stability is much greater in a World Cat because it doesn’t pivot on the centerline like a monohull.
* A World Cat is more like driving a sports car rather than a motorcycle.
* No-wake zones are not a problem on a World Cat.
* Fish one side of a World Cat without the extreme listing of a monohull.
* The shallow draft of the World Cat design provides access to areas that conventional hulls cannot reach.
* A World Cat’s wider footprint negates the effects of rolling seas.
* The relatively rectangular design of the World Cat’s expanded deck area allows for more room and greater load capacity.
* A World Cat’s deck is parallel to the water at all speeds allowing you to maintain your line of sight and giving you greater fuel efficiency.
* A World Cat doesn’t require add-ons like trim tabs or hydrofoils. Stability and efficiency are built in, not added on.
* Loaded with 26 people, the self-bailing system on a World Cat still functions as designed. Just another feature that makes our boats World Class.
Vector Flo:
* The science of Vectorflo® begins at the scoop-shaped bow, channeling air and water into the tunnel created by the catamaran’s unique twin-hull design.
* As air and water pass through the narrowing tunnel, they combine to create an aerated mixture that becomes compressed and increases in velocity. The ever-increasing compression and acceleration literally sucks the aerated mixture (and spray) aft.
* The increased velocity and pressure rushing beneath the hull creates an aerated water-cushioned suspension that works like a shock-absorption system, softening the ride, increasing stability and improving fuel efficiency. This is especially true in rough water.
